A handful of borderline characters caught my "news" attention over the last few weeks. The following is my "Dishpan Chronicles Tiny Bubbles Collection of Dubious Characters And Their Dirty Deeds" submittal to the Universal Rogue's Gallery.

THE EVIL MONKEY-FACED MAN IS AT IT AGAIN!
.....Pat Robertson, the "righteous" spreader of Christian fundamentalist blather, opened his hateful mouth on Thursday to claim that Ariel Sharon's stroke was an act of his god. "God considers this land to be his. You read the Bible and he says 'This is my land,' and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, 'No, this is mine'. Preacher Pat went on to imply that the god he worships was also responsible for the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. It seems like Pat Robertson's personal god is a serial murderer.
Here is a game of truth that you can play with fundamentalists (of any kind) who claim to be God's (or Allah's or Bhudda's) spokespersons. Substitute the word "I" for the words "God" and "He" whenever they are used. I have rewritten Robertson's above statement for your enjoyment......."I consider this land to be mine. I read the Bible and I say, This is my land, and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, I say, "No, this is mine." Or change "God demands that you obey" to "I demand that you obey." Religion is, after all, about power.

POVERTY STRIKES FEDERAL JUDGES.
.....I read in the paper that one of the first official actions taken by newly confirmed Chief Justice of The Supreme Court, John Roberts, was to lobby for higher wages for federal judges. Huh? He argued that judges are deserting the courts because of low pay.
Please read my previous post about "food insecurity" or HUNGER in America and then see if you think that judges need a raise. Judges live much better than most Americans. Maybe they should think more about "serving" their country.
Judge Roberts and his wife don't seem to know how to manage their money very well. We all saw the expensive Little Lord Fauntleroy suit that the Roberts dressed their dancing little boy in for the family's television appearance. Perhaps Judge Roberts could set a money-saving example for the other judges by shopping at Walmart. His little boy could be wearing cheap, made in China, ill fitting clothing just like other American kids.

POPE BENEDICT XVI IS A REAL PRIZE!
.....Several weeks ago the Pope jumped on the Christian Right's gay bashing bandwagon. The Vatican published guidelines that ban active "homosexuals" and "supporters of gay culture" from the priesthood. Clever. Pope Benedict used the word "HOMOSEXUAL" to draw attention away from the word PEDOPHILE and its association with the Catholic Church.
It won't work Ratzinger. People, like myself, who were victims of Catholic pedophiles can see through your attempt at a smokescreen diversion. The Catholic heirarchy has both supported and protected a "Culture of Pedophilia" for centuries. Thousands of children suffered for the rest of their lives as a result.
What is being done to protect children all over the world from Catholic priests, nuns, and missionaries, who are sexual predators? Who can the terrified children go to when the priest has power over everyone in the village? I shudder to think that children will still suffer the hot breath on their necks and the cold pedophiliac fingers down their pants along with the usual poverty and hunger.
Fifty per cent of juvenile molest victims molest as adults. Pedophiles beget more pedophiles. Pope Benedict and the Catholic Church need to end celibacy, police their own perversions, and get their noses out of adult sexual relationships.

MR. HOMELAND SECURITY SUPPORTS TYRANNY
.....There he was on the TV. Michael Chertoff of the darting nervous eyes had President Bush's back on this one. Chertoff, appointed by Bush to head Homeland Security (a strange choice considering that he has about as much experience as the infamous "Brownie") stood with the Presidential Imposter "for" domestic spying and "against" our Constitutional rights to privacy. Chertoff, who was Assistant Attorney General and head of the Justice Department's criminal division under John Ashcroft, is noted for having stated, "When we are talking about preventing acts of war against us, the judicial model does not work." I guess neocon Chertoff has decided the Constitution is to be changed without any of the rest of us having any say so. Anyone for treason?

The Jesusistani set is known first and foremost for breathtaking hypocrisy, and that isn't likely to change.
From their so-called leaders right on down to the youth group counselors diddling with teenaged girls and boys, the whole Jesusistan culture is rotten. They scream about things to distract you from what they, themselves, have been doing, and will continue to do till the handcuffs come out.
