Hate to burst your bubble, but the Hammer is going to fall hardest on the democrats when they fail to carry through with the bogus charges. Oh this is going to be a blast!

Riiight- and the previous ethics violations that he was reprimanded for by his Republican colleagues were more trumped up charges too...
Face it. Delay is just another politician formed by the corruption of "business as usual."
He gets all he deserves, as do any politicians (from either side) who play fast and loose with the public's trust.

Boy, did he look bad on CNN on Sunday morning! Little Tom DeLay is on his way down and OUT. Like a "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road", he reeks! Cronyism, hmmm... Dishonesty, hmmmm... Dirty politics, hmmmmm...We are done with him!
Oh, I don't worry a bit that "the Hammer is going to fall hardest on the democrats" or anyone else. He can't do anything to any of us who are fed up with him. He is now so POLITICALLY IMPOTENT that a truck full of Viagra wouldn't help him lift his hammer!

Beautifully stated. The public's trust has been violated so frequently that the average American thinks the abuse is normal and acceptable. Tom DeLay's "business as usual" and lack of ethics will be now be aired publically. I predict a nauseated but enlightened citizenry will demand honesty and accountability from DeLay and his gang of cronies.
Isn't the guy prosecuting DeLay the same fellow who also indicted (convicted?) eleven Texas Democrats? (I can't remember his name, but I think it's the same guy profiled in Esquire several months ago.) That prosecutor hates corrupt politicians of all flavours. Nothing partisan about his work.
We need more people in the judicial system like him.
