The Ground Truth - A Must See!

There is a way to proactively support the troops, cut through neoconservative war propaganda, and enlighten yourself and others - See this film!

The men and women featured in this film speak openly, directly, and with painful honesty of their experiences as members of the US Armed Forces who have invaded and occupied Iraq. They are truly heros of the on-going, war of choice nightmare in Iraq. These men and women represent the best kind of courage - they have chosen to wield the truth.

This evening, (Thursday Feb. 15, 2007) members of MoveOn.org are screening the "The Ground Truth" in thousands of homes across the nation. Click on the MoveOn link to see if there is a sceening in your neighborhood.

I ordered two copies of this DVD when it became available last fall and gave one as an Xmas gift. Not only eye opening, this film can be put to use to counter the efforts of military recruiters who have been targeting American kids. The Ground Truth is available at the above link and at Amazon here.

Please give this film a looksee. It is worth your while.

Didn't see it last night, although Moveon.org is active here. we have gone to other events. The movie about the money being made by war profiteers called Iraq for Sale is a good one.

Besides our Tuesday 4:00 PM peace march, we have a thursday night group called "Drinking Liberally" that meets at the coffee shop.

Look them up, http://drinkingliberally.org/

We don't have a local chapter, but have been meeting on thursdays for 2 years. Most of us frink coffee and tea, a few have a beer or wine. doesn't matter. We are talking about the problem at hand and even if it is speaking to the choir, we are getting that choir to sing!

Keep on keeping on, as we used to say.

Might I also suggest to all of you Milo Freeman's The Calm Before The Sand?

This is from the horse's mouth-and a very gifted, intelligent horse at that. Spc. Freeman covers the news of the day from a GIs perspective.

Spadoman...
I'll be at a MoveOn event next week. It sounds like you guys are pretty active in your area. I looked at the drinking liberally website and there is one here but very far away.

We all need to do what we can. I firmly believe that every little bit helps!
