I ordered two copies of this DVD when it became available last fall and gave one as an Xmas gift. Not only eye opening, this film can be put to use to counter the efforts of military recruiters who have been targeting American kids. Another worthy DVD is "Soldiers Speak Out"...
Didn't see it last night, although Moveon.org is active here. we have gone to other events. The movie about the money being made by war profiteers called Iraq for Sale is a good one.
Besides our Tuesday 4:00 PM peace march, we have a thursday night group called "Drinking Liberally" that meets at the coffee shop.

We don't have a local chapter, but have been meeting on thursdays for 2 years. Most of us frink coffee and tea, a few have a beer or wine. doesn't matter. We are talking about the problem at hand and even if it is speaking to the choir, we are getting that choir to sing!
Keep on keeping on, as we used to say.
Might I also suggest to all of you Milo Freeman's The Calm Before The Sand?

I'll be at a MoveOn event next week. It sounds like you guys are pretty active in your area. I looked at the drinking liberally website and there is one here but very far away.
We all need to do what we can. I firmly believe that every little bit helps!
