The Dirty Dozen......Rotten Egg #2

Recently, Tom DeLay, long-time champion of coporate America, successfully led the charge for tort reform. Consequently, the average American is severely hindered from filing law suits against big businesses. Accidental injury and wrongful death compensation will fade quickly into the past as the American public has no recourse except to "shut up and suck it up". This is yet another Texas-styled, political twist when you consider what Congressman DeLay and his family did, after the death of Charles DeLay (Tom's) father in 1988.

They filed (in Tom's own words) a "frivolous, parasitic lawsuit" against Midcap Bearing Corporation! The DeLay's were seeking compensation for Tom's father's "physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, and trauma" AND for his mother's "grief, loss of companionship, and sorrow"!

Once again, Congressman DeLay has illustrated to the citizens of this country, that things are just "different" for some folks and their families because they are.....well, you know,.....kind of above all of the rest of us....they are SPECIAL.

In the early nineties, after three years of legal proceedings, the DeLays were awarded a quarter of a million dollars in compensation. Tom, better at being a son then being a man, turned his share of the small fortune over to his mother.

Today, Tom's mother lives quite well in a very nice Houston senior citizen residence. This egg is PINK because Maxine Delay "is in the Pink".

Keep hunting.....the rest of "The Dirty Dozen" are still out there!
