Tiny Facist Bubbles In My Sink

.......I agree with Frenchie's comment that fascism hasn't developed fully here in the states, however, I think the seeds have been sown, and some have already sprouted much to the delight of the Neo-con Garden Club.

.......The corporate elite and the Bush Administration are one entity in America and that is cause for concern. These words from the father of "Fascismo" describe the foundation upon which fascist structure is based; "Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of State and corporate power." - Benito Mussolini

.......Now, I will address some of Doc Strangelove's points. Many actions of the Bush Administration ARE consistant with fascism. Putting "the emphasis on self-reliance" to sell the privatization of Social Security is a manipulation straight out of Propaganda 101. Like the carrot that is dangled before the mule, it is being used to divert attention from the Wall Street firms who will REALLY be in charge of our money.

The "individual desires placed over community needs", are the desires of the corporate elite not of the American middle class and working poor.

Finally, fascism does not deny God. Fascist leaders tie themselves to the most common religion and proclaim themselves to be defenders of the faith. "Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religions are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions." (L. W. Britt) The religion chosen by the fascist leadership is used to shield the leaders from attack - an attack on "our leader" is seen as an attack on "the people of faith" or on their God. The religious population is soon manipulated to support the fascist regime which in hand gives the regime moral standing.

I have never, in my 55 years, seen such abuse of power, lying, manipulation, and greed companioned with total disregard not only for the people of this country, but for people all over the world. George W. Bush is the WORST president in the history of the United States and that is why we need to continue to fight for democracy right here at home!

Karl Rove runs the country. Bush's brain is the copper wire Rove uses to run things. Haven't you figured it out yet? Politicians are the misfits of society.

Karl Rove (Darth Rovius) is the fuel of the NeoCon war machine. What we need is to find a way to dilute their fuel source. A does of reality anyone?

First, Morris is an idiot, he continually shows it in every post in every blog that he visits. He's so chicken that he doesn't leave many ways to contact him.

First, Bush is not the worst president, he is one of the best. Why? Because he has stood up for what this country has and should stand for. He hasn't rolled over just because the 'world' doesn't agree with the U.S. Guess what? I don't really care what the rest of the world thinks. Is the rest of the world trying to get into the U.S. or are U.S. citizens trying, by hook and crook to get into other countries? Why? Because this is the one country that you can still make something of yourself if you are willing to work at it and try.

You are advocating socialism, under socialism there is no need to work hard. If you do work hard, the government just comes and takes it away so that we all can be 'equal'. Sorry, if I'm willing to work hard, scrape, sacrifice then I should get what my efforts have earned me. If a kid wishes to sit on the couch, smoke pot and watch MTV, then his rewards should be equal to his efforts.

The 'community needs' rhetoric is common amongst those who believe in 'group think'. We need to all think alike, for the betterment of 'the whole'. Wrong, did Einstein, Edison, Ford and Gates engage in group think? Where would we be if they had? Probably not where we are now. You take risks and you get the rewards. You put in the effort, you get the rewards. This is still the ONLY country where that holds true.

rant mode off

Michael: Bush is one of the greatest Presidents "Because he has stood up for what this country has and should stand for." That's a joke, right? Does America stand for corporate domination of the little man, lies to get the nation into war, destroying the environment to make money, attacking retirement benefits, attacking education, attacking the right to sue companies for wrongdoing and using lies to cover everything up? THAT IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY. Or at least, it didn't used to be. Not to be rude friend, but the only values Bush defends are those of his rich, corporate sponsors and those of the religious zealots he tricks into thinking he's a true Christian. True Christians wouldn't use deceit and half-truths so often to get and maintain power.

Anyone who would try to argue that George W. Bush has ever been a "great" anything is too far removed from reality to try to connect to, even with the wonderful means of communication we have in this day and age.

As for the other ROFL-that Clinton was "worst"-I'll bet you the newly-minted millions of impovershed Americans would disagree.

Morris.....On the rare occaison I bake, but only as a treat for my family. Next week a pineapple upside down cake from scratch.

Abraham.....I agree politicians are the misfits of society.

Right On!....How come I get the feeling that you drive a Big Ass, American, gas guzzling truck or Humvee?

Archangel...You're rude! There was no reason to be mean about Morris.
- Bush doesn't stand: he is propped up by the military. His legacy will be one of poverty, lies, and death.
-And - You haven't cornered the market on hard work. We all work hard. The difference is many of us care about one another enough to share and you don't!
-"Community needs" was quoted from a comment to another post.
-I did not advocate socialism, I defined fascism.
-As for "group think" your entire argument illustrates it perfectly!
-Henry Ford supported the Nazi movement and Hitler with money, car parts, and trucks for the German forces who occupied France.
-China is an up and comming country and they own the majority of the debt run up under the Bush administration ....if they call in that debt you can kiss your risks,
efforts, and rewards good-bye!

Okdemocrat.....You covered all of the rest of the angel-con's "group think" points and beautifully!

Jolly Roger....I argue that G.W. Bush is a "great" failure...or even a "colossal" failure. War is a failure of foreign policy.

Off to sleep I go....KWW
